Esta Páscoa decidimos presentear-vos com um exercício de tipografia e ilustração.

No lettering inspiramo-nos no glacé das coberturas de bolos, com uma composição de pequenos ornamentos e curvas. As palavras chave foram "personalidade" e "elegância".

A textura marmoreada e voluptuosa do fundo com cores entre o rosa, branco e azul claro remonta ao universo das amêndoas e ovos da Páscoa... e convida-nos a mergulhar!

The SPOT team wishes you a happy Easter!

On Easter, decided to present to you a typography and illustration exercise.

The lettering is inspired by cake frosting, made with little ornaments and curves. The keywords were "personality" and "elengance".

The marbled and voluptuous texture in the background with colors between the pink, the white and the blue goes back to the universe of easter eggs and almonds... and it sure is invinting!

The '80s and the '90s

We chose the ‘80s and the ‘90s as the inspiration for this week’s mood board, celebrating their aesthetic and symbolic boldness and their strong influence in our popular culture.

And because inspiration is an essential element in the search for our most intimate passions and for the strongest experiences in life, we decided to revisit the things that defined this period.

Na rua encontro inspiração... alguma beleza nas letras e grafismos que vemos estampados nas paredes e que vemos no nosso dia a dia. Nós somos meio cegos e passamos 1000 vezes no mesmo sitio sem prestar atenção. O que o nosso cérebro selecciona como importante faz-nos perder um outro mundo que passa por nós sem realmente existir até que algo nos faça parar.

Sim... alguma beleza nas coisas banais e pouco importantes, publicidades velhas, rasgadas e esquecidas da parede de um prédio, um reclame luminoso enferrujado, o reflexo de um vidro de uma loja bonita... são tudo pequenas coisas.

Um submundo que vive na cidade, rejeitado pelo tempo e achado por alguém que apenas procura alguma beleza... no meio do invisível.

Typography

I find inspiration in the streets... some beauty in the letter types and graphics that we see stamped on the walls and along our daily lives. We are often half blind and we can go 1000 times to the same place without paying attention. What our brain selects as important causes us to lose a whole other world that passes through us without actually existing until something tells us to stop.

Yes... some beauty in the banal and unimportant things, old advertisements, torn and forgotten on the wall of a building, a rusty luminous advertisement, the reflection of a window from a pretty shop... all are little things.

An underworld that lives in the city, rejected by time and found by someone who just looks for some beauty... amidst the invisible.
